Tim and Judy Candy would like to welcome you to our home in Wedmore, jewel of the Somerset Levels. We would like your stay to be as comfortable as possible, so please ask if there is anything you need.
There are many lovely walks literally on our doorstep. From a short saunter through the cider orchards, to a longer stroll down to the River Axe - just ask us for directions.

Meare Nature Reserve is close by, famous for its display of nesting starlings in the evenings in winter, and wildfowl in summer.
Cheddar birthplace of the nation's favorite cheese is only 4 miles away. If you are feeling fit walk to the top of Jacobs Ladder for wonderful views. Otherwise drive up through the Gorge and maybe have lunch in Priddy a typical Mendip Village.

Wells the smallest City in England is 8 miles to the east. While viewing the majestic West Front of the Cathedral walk round to the left and see The Vicars Close home of the Cathedral Clergy since the 13th century.

If you are on a spiritual trail how about a trip to nearby Glastonbury to see the Tor, the Abbey ruins and the Rural Life Museum. Refresh yourself in one of the many organic cafe's have a Tarot reading or just soak up the Vibes.
