The Old Shoe Shop

The Old Shoe Shop is a very comfortable self-catering flat located on the ground floor of Sydney House.

Sydney House like many Cromarty houses has two front doors as in addition to being a home, it was also a shop. The shop had various uses including a family grocers, but was last used as a shoemakers. The shoe shop closed around 1960. 

Historic Cromarty is a perfect location for a self-catering break, and The Old Shoe Shop is situated right in the heart of the historic town. 

The Old Shoe Shop has a fully fitted kitchen, with cooker, fridge freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. plus of course a kettle, toaster and microwave. Washing liquid, dishwasher tablets and washing powder is provided.

Eat in comfort at the dining table in the dining area within the kitchen. 

Relax in the comfortable sunny living room overlooking the garden. There is a big sofa and two easy chairs. Flat screen TV with freeview and radio/CD player are available for your use.

The bedroom has a very comfortable double wrought iron bedstead. All bedlinen supplied. There is ample storage with bedside tables, large dressing table and wardrobe. The en-suite shower room has an electric shower. Towels and toilet rolls supplied.

There is free Wi-Fi throughout the accommodation.

Guests have access to the garden. There is free on street parking available. Storage for bicycles can be arranged.

A welcome pack is included which usually includes tea, ground coffee, milk and sugar. Breakfast orange juice, home made Seville marmalade, Sydney House raspberry jam and a loaf of fresh Cromarty bakery bread means you have ample supplies for your breakfast.

The Old Shoe Shop is on the ground floor and is all on one level, but there are two steps to enter the property.
