You could visit Brimham Rocks; Fountains Abbey & Studley Royal Water Garden (World Heritage Site); Stump Cross Caverns; How Stean Gorge; Grimwith, Swinsty, Gouthwaite, Angram and Scar House Reservoirs; Pateley Bridge - home to England's Oldest Sweet Shop; and Skipton market town.

There are numerous Festivals and Dales Shows, including The Nidderdale Show, The Nidderdale Festival, The Grassington Dickensian Festival and The Grassington Festival and Music and Arts.

Greenhow has much mining history dating back to Roman times.  Lead mined at Greenhow was used in the building of Windsor Castle.  Also, Rudyard Kipling wrote the famous poem, "On Greenhow Hill"!
